Last updated: August 30, 2026. This policy is a first draft and is under review; it describes what the product actually does today.
An email address and a password, or an account linked through Twitch, Kick or YouTube. A username, a display language, and a profile picture.
When you connect Twitch, Kick or YouTube, peepoStream stores the account identifier, username, display name, email address, profile picture, channel description, follower and subscriber counts, and broadcaster type that the platform returns. It also stores an access token and a refresh token so it can act on the channel's behalf.
The permissions requested are broad, because the product reads chat, runs alerts and channel point rewards, and moderates. On Twitch they include reading and sending chat, reading subscriptions, followers and chatters, managing moderators, VIPs, channel point redemptions, predictions and polls, reading bits, and banning users. On Kick they include reading and writing to the channel, writing chat, creating rewards, subscribing to events and banning. On YouTube they are read-only, plus email and profile.
peepoStream stores information about viewers of the channels that use it, including people who have never created a peepoStream account. For each viewer of a connected channel it records the platform account identifier and display name, when they were first and last seen, how many minutes they have watched, how many messages they have sent, and channel points they have earned.
When a subscription, donation, raid, follow or similar event happens on a connected channel, peepoStream stores the event: the viewer's display name and avatar, their account identifier, any message they sent with it, the amount and currency where there is one, the tier, and the complete original payload from the platform.
Messages read aloud by text to speech are stored with their text.
No payment information. There is no billing system, no card storage and no payment processor in the product. If that changes, this section has to change with it.
No sign-in telemetry. No IP address or sign-in history is recorded.
No analytics or advertising trackers.
Sounds, images and voice samples you upload are stored on the server's disk.
Amazon Web Services, for Polly text to speech. Text sent for synthesis reaches AWS.
RunPod, for GPU rendering of generated voices.
ElevenLabs, for voice synthesis.
Twitch, Kick and Google/YouTube, which is where connected channel data comes from and where actions taken on your behalf go.
7TV, for emote data.
peepoStream does not sell personal information and does not share it for advertising.
peepoStream does not currently send email. There is no configured mail delivery, which means password reset by email does not work: if you signed up with a password and cannot get in, the route back is the Discord. If mail is switched on later, this section has to change.
Account data is kept while the account is open.
When you close your account, peepoStream anonymizes it rather than erasing everything: your personal details are removed, your username is released, and your connected platform tokens are revoked and deleted. Content you shared with the community stays, attributed to a closed account, so that streamers who installed it do not lose it.
There is currently no retention limit on viewer data, event history or stored messages.
You can disconnect a platform at any time from your account settings, which revokes the tokens. You can close your account, with the effect described above. You can contact peepoStream through the Discord.
When this policy changes, the change is announced in the Discord and the date at the top of this page moves.
